Lake State Recycling Inc was founded by Chris Baumgardt and Harley Hanson in 2010 in Nowthen, Minnesota. They started primarily recycling commercial electronic scrap and non-ferrous metals. Services now include e-scrap, non-ferrous, ferrous, precious metals, automotive, and catalytic converters. Lake State Recycling has now moved their operations to a new Elk River, Minnesota facility providing a larger, more convenient space to service customer needs. 

With a combined 30 years of experience in the recycling industry. No matter what material you may have that needs processing, we can assist you through the recycling process.

Lake State Recycling Inc. works with the customer to provide proper assessment to simplify the most efficient and profitable handling of your recyclable material. It is our goal to make sure that your material is handled the best way possible. We follow our exceptional service with prompt payment because we realize that no one wants to wait to receive their money.

PRICING

We keep ourselves plugged into the ever changing world market. We are focused on providing our customers with consistent, fair and up to date pricing. We want our customers to feel comfortable that they received the highest possible pricing for their material. We will also do our best to find a market for material that we may not regularly receive, so feel free to contact us to see how we can serve you.

Roll-off dumpsters

If you have material that you aren't sure how to transport. Just give us a quick call and we will help you set up a pickup. Roll-off containers or semi trailers are available for pick up and delivery. We also provide pickup services for business & Industrial accounts.

Fundraising

Lake State Recycling Inc. offers fundraising opportunities. We want to offer value to our community and surrounding areas and we understand the important need for these opportunities. If you are with a school, church or any program that would benefit from a recycling fundraiser call us to find out how we can help. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to raise some extra money for your organization.
